Chartwell’s upcoming events for 2023

Our 2023 fundraisers are back in full swing and we have something to suit everyone from personal challenges to relaxing with colleagues, families and friends.

You can join an event of any shape, size or challenge, whether it’s a skydive, run or cycle, dinner or gala evening. Or, let us know what you have in mind and choose something of your own.

Whatever you decide, we will support you every step of the way.

Night of Wellbeing, The Body Suite, Chichester Friday 3rd February

The Body Suite Pilates and Dance Studio located in Chichester are hosting an evening of trial classes and treatments including a fashion show sporting our stunning collection of designer pieces from The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust Vintage Rose Boutique.

An opportunity to chat with holistic teachers and practitioners and purchase something unique for any special occasion whilst fundraising at the same time.

Thank you to The Body Suite for what will be a wonderful evening and amazing opportunity for The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust.

Welling United FC V Dartford Match Saturday 4th February

‘Wingy’ Robot, the Club’s mascot, will be making an appearance at Welling United FC’s Derby Day this Saturday and we have been invited to raise funds for The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust.

Our volunteers will be there with buckets in hand! Kick-off is at 3pm if you would like to pop down and support your local team. Tickets can be purchased HERE where 50% of the booking fee is donated to us. We look forward to an exciting game. Good luck Welling United FC!

 

Hell Of The Ashdown Cycling Sportive Sunday 26th February

The Hell of the Ashdown is back organised by Annual Supporters Westerham Cycling Club. This is Kent’s premier Cycling Sportive and the second time WCC has taken the reigns. The 100km route commences from Westerham Brewery over the Cols of Kent and Sussex. We expect over 1500 cyclists to take part and we will be there to cheer them on from the start line! A fantastic event not for the faint-hearted. Thank you to WCC for choosing The Chartwell Cancer Trust as it’s nominated charity.

 

Premier League Game – CPFC V Man City Saturday 11th March

We are heading to Selhurst Park, the home of The Eagles, for a 5.30pm kick-off at the kind invitation of Crystal Palace FC where we will have a team of volunteers waiting in the wings to bucket collect for The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust. A first class game which we have the privilege of attending! Thank you to CPFC for allowing us to be a part of it.

 

On Your Marks And Get Set For London’s Half Marathon Sunday 2nd April

A first time for us with places in this year’s London Landmarks Half Marathon, a quirky and hidden history route of the capital. Join over 16,000 runners starting from Pall Mall taking in the fabulous views of London’s most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Tower of London and the London Eye before finishing by Downing Street. We have limited places available, and if you don’t want to miss out, book your place today. FREE entry and running vest provided.

 

King’s Coronation Local Village Fayre, Tatsfield Sunday 7th May

To commemorate the King’s Coronation, Tatsfield Village are hosting a local village event on the Green. There will be fantastic entertainment, stalls and lots to do for the whole family. Our wonderful team will be serving up the hot dogs and burgers, with the proceeds from their hard work donated to our charity. Pop down for a glorious afternoon of fun.

 

Join the greatest 10k celebration in the heart of the Capital Sunday 9th July

Enter yourself or a team, and support us on this iconic 10k route around the heart of London in the ASICS London 10K ideal for those taking on their first running event, and experienced runners looking for their personal best. FREE to enter and running vest supplied.

 

Fast and Furious Fun at the Dragon Boat Festival, Bewl Water Saturday 2nd September

A firm favourite and a popular choice. Enter a crew and race for the trophy at the Dragon Boat Festival, Bewl Water. Expect a few splashes and plenty of team spirit as you race in heats across the water with your fellow Dragons. A fantastic family day out, a chance to dress up and spectators are welcome!

Climb Up and Over The O2

Visit The O2 from a different angle and take on an unforgettable 90-minute expedition across the roof of the world’s most popular entertainment venue. All ages are welcome but children will need adult supervision. A great event where you can book groups of up to 30. You choose your time and date, whether you want to watch the sunset or climb back down in time for lunch. We will take care of the bookings, all you need to do is fundraise, and be ready for this hike with a difference!

 

Fine Dining at The Palace Of Westminster

Enjoy the splendour of the House of Commons and fine dining in a truly magical place with pre-drinks on the famous balcony overlooking the Thames. Join our stylish black tie charity event at in the Palace of Westminster, one of the most iconic buildings in the world.

Host or organise an Early Warning Prosecco Soiree, whether in the comfort of your own home or garden and enjoy a glass of bubbly with your favourite company. A simple and easy way to fundraise, the Prosecco supplied with compliments from The Chartwell Cancer Trust.
