Inspiring local supporter who has recently conquered cancer is taking part in the Amsterdam Half Marathon Challenge
Thank you to local supporter, Carole Campbell, who is running the Amsterdam Half Marathon on the 16th October in aid of The Chartwell Cancer Trust as a thank you for the amazing care she received in the Chartwell Unit, at The PRUH.
Carole is no stranger to running but back in June, her running was put on hold because she was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer, and underwent a mastectomy just a month later. Despite not being able to run for six weeks following her operation, Carole can now manage up to 10 miles and we are so pleased she is getting back on track!
