Donating your time makes all the difference
There are different ways to support local charities and donating time plays an integral part of what we do, as much of the success of The Chartwell Charities depends on its volunteers. Not only giving something back to the community, it is extremely rewarding and can be great fun.
Our volunteers share the same vision as us and we are delighted to have such a wonderful team on board helping in our charity shops, at fetes and marshalling at events.
We always have room for more and we have some amazing volunteering opportunities available right now!
Charity Shops
A huge part of our fundraising is through our charity shops which are located in Selsdon, Croydon, Westerham, Tatsfield and Peckham. Our volunteers get to work with our friendly team, help with the running of the shop, sorting donations and stock, pricing and dealing with customers. It’s a great way to meet people and socialise and enjoy the rewarding benefits it brings.
Calling all cake makers….
Everyone loves homemade cakes and our fundraising cake stalls are incredibly popular, so much so, we can’t keep up with the baking! If you can spare any time to bake a cake, please get in touch to see if you can help at our events we have coming up soon.
We are also looking for help with manning our cake stalls too!
Helping others will elevate your spirit and make you proud to give something back to your local community.
