Twelve years and still going strong!

For the twelfth year running, Kevin Kingshott and his dedicated crew dusted off their bikes and took to the South Downs on the 17th May for their annual memorial ride in memory of Lily-Mae.
The popular challenge saw riders follow a scenic route from Seaford through Friston Forest, past the iconic Long Man of Wilmington overlooking the Cuckmere Valley, before tackling the demanding climb to Bo Peep and crossing the stunning Sussex Downs.
What makes the event even more remarkable is that many of the participants only cycle once a year – and this is the day they choose to do it. Their dedication to the ride, and to Lily-Mae’s memory, continues to inspire us all.
Following the challenge, riders enjoyed a well-earned refreshment and traditional malt bread while reflecting on another successful day of friendship, remembrance and fundraising.
Huge thanks to Kevin and everyone who took part, as well as those who supported the event and made a generous donation to the charity. Their continued commitment over the past twelve years has made a meaningful difference and is greatly appreciated by all those we support.
