Tiger Ward families enjoy pizza making fun in Eltham
On Saturday 7th February, oncology families from Tiger Ward, Queen Elizabeth Hospital came together for a special get-together at Pizza Express. Each child became a mini pizza chef, creating their own delicious pizzas with their favourite toppings and enjoying a fun-filled afternoon.
In addition, a huge thank you to GB10 Sports for generously providing the venue for a coffee morning with the oncology staff and families. Venues like this are vital for our support groups, giving families in similar situations the chance to connect, share experiences, and feel understood.
The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust support groups provide families with a safe, relaxed space to build friendships, reduce isolation, and allow children to simply be children – laughing, chatting, and making happy memories.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying time together at our meet-ups, and we are grateful to GB10 for their continued support.
