Sophie’s Wish Lodge welcomes oncology families back
Our Isle of Wight lodge, Sophie’s Wish, has been newly refreshed, providing a safe, welcoming and uplifting space where children with cancer and their families can rest, reconnect and spend valuable time together away from the pressures of hospital life.
The lodge officially reopened on 31st March, and we are delighted to share that our first oncology family has already made the ferry crossing and is thoroughly enjoying their stay. This special retreat gives families the opportunity to focus on what truly matters—creating precious memories in a calm and supportive environment.
We are incredibly grateful to Jemca Car Group, whose generous contribution through the Toyota Community Fund helped fund essential refurbishments. Their support ensures the lodge can continue to offer a safe and comforting haven for families facing childhood cancer.
