Chartwell funds state-of-the art portable screen for Tiger Ward children
The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust is pleased to have funded a new portable, retractable screen including window panels for the children’s Tiger Ward, Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The new fully flexible screen replaces the existing treatment room curtains creating a hygienic physical barrier between patients, without reducing capacity. The screen and windows panels can also be blacked out at the touch of a button.
The screen, wonderfully decorated using a tiger/jungle based theme, has completely transformed the oncology room into a bright, lovely open space, offering child-friendly privacy and dignity.
