A huge thank you to our loyal Chartwell patrons, Richard and Cathy Smithson, for once again firing up their BBQ and hosting a wonderful charity summer party on Saturday 24^th August. Over 50 families, friends, and neighbours gathered for an unforgettable day filled with delicious food, great company, plenty of laughter, and a true sense of community spirit.

Despite the typical British Bank Holiday weather causing a short delay, the Smithsons powered through—nothing was going to stop them, especially the lack of sunshine!  And it was a great success, raising over £1,000 that afternoon with the help of a raffle and auction.

We would also like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended, donated, and made the day so special. Your contributions are vital in providing crucial services and support to those affected by cancer.

Rick also recently took part in our recent Stride or Ride charity event at Bewl Water on Saturday 21^st September!   Well done Rick, and thanks for your continued support
