THE CHARTWELL CHARITIES NEWS

Panto season – oh yes it is!

We had an absolutely incredible time and unforgettable experience at the Churchill Theatre Bromley Pantomime on Sunday (PLEASE ADD DATE).  Our oncology families, from our Chartwell Children’s Cancer Support Group definitely received the VIP treatment with refreshments, party food, programs and interval ice-creams! They were made to feel extra special with a private visit before the show from the whole cast and they also received a shout-out during the performance. It was a truly magical afternoon for the group, with plenty of fun, laughter and happy memories. A huge thank you also to the theatre for the bucket collection during the show, which raised over £2000.

Our young cancer patients and their families from Tiger Ward, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, also enjoyed a fun Christmas Party hosted by Welling United Football Club on Sunday 26th November. It was a very special afternoon filled with entertainment from Annie, Captain Fantastic Children’s Entertainment, party food, gifts, lots of smiles, laughter and happy memories! Thank you also to Welling United players Dominic Odusanya and Tristan Abrahams for taking the time to pop in, a delightful surprise adding an extra layer of joy. On Sunday, the families were also treated to a trip to panto and ice-creams at Greenwich Theatre, London, which they really enjoyed, oh yes they did!

All of this could not be possible without the support of our wonderful followers.  Thank you so much!!
