KCH PRUH haematology cancer care decision – documentation published

KCH has now published the documentation and supporting evidence behind its decision to end specialist haematology inpatient cancer care at the PRUH and convert Chartwell Ward into a Haematology Day Unit. The material includes the final proposal, the stakeholder engagement report, proposed patient pathways, and quality and equality assessments.

These papers will be considered at Bromley’s Health Scrutiny Sub-Committee meeting on Thursday 9 July at 5pm.

The meeting is open to the public. The agenda and reports can be read HERE.

Members of the public may also submit a written question seeking clarification of the published report. The deadline is Friday 3 July. As the deadline is today, anyone wishing to submit a question will need to do so by 5pm. Questions should be concise, relate directly to the report, and be sent to the Committee Clerk: Jo Partridge Joanne.Partridge@bromley.gov.uk

The Chartwell Cancer Trust is reviewing the published material carefully and will be raising its own questions with councillors ahead of the meeting.
