Important update on the Chartwell Charities Ward at PRUH
We are aware of recent rumours about the future of the Chartwell In-Patients Ward at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH).
We want to reassure our supporters that:
- We are working closely with the King’s College Hospital NHS team.
- An internal review of in-patient care in the Chartwell Unit has taken place.
- The NHS team is developing proposals to enhance and improve services.
- No decisions have been made at this stage.
- All proposals will be shared with us and other stakeholders.
Any future decisions will always be in the best interests of patients and the dedicated medical team.
