Continued Funding Secures Future of Myeloma Patient Support Group
The Chartwell Cancer Trust is delighted to confirm continued funding for the Myeloma Patient Support Group for another year, ensuring this vital lifeline remains available to patients and carers affected by myeloma.
The group provides a safe, welcoming space where people can share experiences, receive emotional support, and access practical advice. Through peer-to-peer connection, members find encouragement, reduce feelings of isolation, and gain the confidence to ‘live well’ with myeloma.
The meetings will also offer valuable resources and expert information, empowering patients, and carers to take an active role in their care, to help them cope with the challenges of diagnosis and treatment.
While based in South-East London, the group attracts participants from across the UK because there is no similar support available.
