Chartwell children’s summer party
The Chartwell Children’s Tiger Ward Childhood Cancer Group got together for their summer party on Friday 11 August at the Meridian Club sports field. There were bouncy castles, an ice cream van, games, and music for the 30 patients and their families who came to the celebration.
It was a brilliant summer party, providing the children with a much-needed distraction whilst creating happy memories.
We were delighted that one of the patients also got to ring the bell to mark the end of her treatment, a very special moment, for her and the family after such a difficult time.
