Out of all the satellites in the world, Banksy’s masterpiece spotted above Chartwell’s charity shop!
We were over the moon to be featured on TV last night (8th August), thanks to the eagle eyes of our amazing supporters! A huge shoutout to Banksy for selecting our charity shop on Rye Lane as the canvas for his latest masterpiece—though it was sadly stolen shortly after. Out of all the satellite dishes in the world, it had to be ours!
A huge part of our fundraising is through our charity shops, and we rely on the generosity of residents and supporters to drop in donations or arrange collections which we then sort and sell in our shops. We also recycle items unfit for sale ensuring waste is kept to a minimum and operate a waste disposal service.
All the proceeds are dedicated to funding the oncology services and projects that change the lives of adults and children fighting cancer and leukaemia.
