THE CHARTWELL CHARITIES NEWS

Chartwell’s AV1 Robot hits the national news!

The Chartwell team was delighted to see the fruits of their efforts and fundraising recognised last week on the BBC and ITV News, as well as a full report on the BBC News website: Twickenham pupil with cancer able to attend school using robot – BBC News

The charity has been tirelessly funding for No Isolation AV1 robots since 2018, starting out with just three, having now grown to a small army of twenty-four, all constantly in use.

This inspirational, life changing technology allows young cancer and leukaemia patients, including our superstar Howard, who featured on the news, and is currently using one of our robots, access to schooling remotely during and after treatment.

The AV1 Robots make such a real and positive difference, offering not only educational continuity but emotional and social support and we are totally committed to expanding our robot army to ensure that no child battling cancer misses their education and can stay connected to their peers and friends.
