We are proud to be making a real difference in the lives of young people with cancer and serious illness through our growing AV1 Robot Programme.
These remarkable AV1 Robots help children who are too unwell to attend school stay connected with their education and classmates during treatment or recovery – at home or in hospital. Acting as the child’s “eyes, ears and voice” in the classroom, the AV1 Robot allows them to join lessons in real-time, participate in discussions, and maintain those all-important social connections.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we have been able to provide AV1 Robots to many children across London and the South East. However, as demand for the programme grows, so does the cost of keeping these vital tools operational.
Each AV1 Robot costs £800 per year to maintain. This includes hardware and software updates, technical support, servicing, and repairs to ensure the robots stay in top working condition.
We are now inviting individuals, businesses, schools, and community groups to become AV1 Robot Sponsors – ensuring this vital service can continue reaching the children who need it most.

We have introduced three sponsorship tiers to suit different levels of giving with a range of benefits:
Bronze – £800 (1 year)
Silver – £2,400 (3 years)
Gold – £4,000 (5 years)
