Vintage Rose, our first exclusive charity-clothing boutique, selling new and preloved high quality vintage clothing for women and men without the designer price tag has been open for one year this month!
Located in Chichester, this charity shop with a difference, run by Teri Bradley, raises funds for The Chartwell Children’s Cancer Trust, in support of young oncology patients and their families. This unique boutique boasts a beautiful collection of one-of-a-kind pieces from designer labels such as YSL and Alexander McQueen. Garments are not only for sale but genuine vintage pieces are available to rent. Perfect for special occasions, the races, garden parties, photoshoots and themed parties. Teri also offers that personal touch with an appointment only service to style you from head to toe!
More recently, Vintage Rose set up a market stall at a Vintage Market Fair in Chichester, which takes place every Wednesday to boost funds and to raise awareness, which has been a great success.
As well as the boutique, Teri organises a variety of fundraisers including ‘The Great Gatsby Masquerade Ball’ that was held in April, with the support of Chichester College, a Jubilee Vintage Tea Party and took part in the Chichester’s Bid Summer Street Parties Fashion Show in July.
We are delighted that Vintage Rose is getting noticed. Recently, Miss Dawn Gracie, Chichester’s very own Vintage icon, who is reporting all the fashion at this year’s Goodwood Revival, popped into the boutique with the Head of Marketing from Goodwood to film the shop and interview Teri and Dawn.
Teri and her team have lots of exciting fundraising plans ahead including ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ by The Chichester players and a film illustrating fashion through the decades at Pallant House Gallery, which we are very excited about. Leading up to the 2022 Goodwood Revival, Vintage Rose are also offering a complimentary glass of fizz to customers and a one to one style makeover!
