Chartwell Cancer Trust Campaign: PRUH Inpatient Care

The Chartwell Cancer Trust continues to advocate for the future of inpatient care at Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH).
We are grateful for the support of local leaders who have engaged with the issue:
- Claire Coutinho MP has contacted the stakeholder team to request that the evidence provided by The Chartwell Cancer Trust is given due consideration in the current engagement process.
- Cllr Alison Stammers, Chislehurst Councillor and member of the Bromley Health Scrutiny Sub-Committee, has highlighted the need for clear, practical detail, noting that โa day-care unit is not the same as an inpatient ward, and that distinction still has not been properly addressed.โ
- Cecilia Broderick, candidate for Bickley and Sundridge and a haematology patient at PRUH, emphasises her top priority is supporting the objective of keeping inpatient care at the hospital, drawing on her personal experience to highlight its importance for patients.
We are also proud to share that our campaign has now reached over 31,000 signatures, reflecting strong local support.
We remain committed to ensuring that patient care, safety, and local access are central to any future plans.
