When life brings beautiful people together, good actions will follow
This is what happened when sisters Alexandra and Eugenia Pricop met Michelle Simpson of The Chartwell Cancer Trust at their Pop-Up Shop in The Glades Shopping Centre, Bromley in June. For some years, Alex and Gina had wanted to organise an event where they could donate their lovely long hair to charity whilst raising funds at the same time. With Michelle’s and The Glades’ support they decided to organise a Prosecco Soirée with a twist on Tuesday 21st August with family and friends!
The event was in aid of The Little Princess Trust, a national charity that creates wigs for little ones dealing with cancer, and The CCT. It took place in the VIP area of The Glades so that as many people as possible could attend. Talented hairdresser Lucia Krjcova from Unique hair salon cut their hair. The girls had been growing their hair for more than 10 years but knew they were in safe hands. She made them feel relaxed and comfortable the whole time. Lucia cut 80cm off Alex’s hair and 50cm off Gina’s, a total of 130cm donated to The Little Princess Trust. They also raised over £500 for The CCT. Alexandra said: “We honestly felt so overwhelmed seeing how many wonderful people understood our cause. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, attended and supported us.”
