We are very pleased to report that Valley Primary School are making great progress with their Guinness World record attempt and have now made over 22,000 Pom Poms to date!

During the February and Easter breaks, the school held Pom Pom masterclasses in The Glades which gave the numbers a real boost as well as raise funds and awareness for The CCT. They were a great success as many shoppers dropped by to make Pom Poms for a donation. The entire Bromley FC First Team and staff also came by and were soon busy making them too, as well as chatting to shoppers! The CCT also demonstrated the Magic of AV1: The No Isolation Robot. Thank you to The Glades for hosting the masterclasses.
Lisa Pitman from Virtue Taekwondo organised a mega pom pom making day at Azelia Hall in Beckenham, on Saturday 23rd March where they made an amazing 623 Pom Poms! Special thanks to the Club for this fantastic contribution and to Lisa for providing all of the refreshments.

At the end of last term, Valley Primary School held an exciting Easter competition where the students and staff had to come up with creative ideas for the ‘Great Easter Pom Pom Challenge’. They received lots of entries, so thankyou to everyone who entered.

Charlotte English, spearheading the challenge, has made several more amazing Pom installations since the Christmas snowman, including an incredible large heart which was on proud display in ‘Little Woolies’, Shortlands, for Valentines Day as well as in The Glades, and an amazing Valley Primary School logo. She is now working on making The CCT’s logo – which we know will be an amazing masterpiece.

Thank you to Valley School for their support. To date they have raised around £1,400 and have more plans for the Summer term. This includes a school fair on Saturday 6th July when the final Pom Pom total will be counted. Thank you also to everyone who has been involved, for making Pom Poms, and donating wool.
