A massive thank you to our wonderful marshals for their help and support on Sunday 18th February at the Hell of the Ashdown Sportive, organised by our friends at the Catford Cycling Club. Conditions are really tough, and not just for the cyclists, as some marshals can be placed in quite remote albeit picturesque areas! For our marshals this year, it was a gloriously sunny day, always a bonus, and they all thoroughly enjoyed it!
The event itself was a great success and the good weather helped with 900 riders completing the 107k route. James Callinan, Hon. Gen. Secretary, Catford Cycling Club said, “We could not run this event without The Chartwell Cancer Trust’s support. We are very proud to be associated with The Chartwell Cancer Trust and we will continue our support to them.”
