The children in King’s College London, ‘Toni and Guy’ Ward were really excited to receive their gorgeous Princess Wigs from The Magic Yarn Project. Thank you to The Magic Yarn Project in America for sending us another selection of absolutely beautiful handmade Princess Yarn Wigs and Super Hero Beanies for the boys, and for putting big smiles onto our children’s faces, who are currently undergoing treatment. The CCT has set up a new Childhood Cancer Support Group for oncology families whose children are being treated on Toni and Guy Ward, King’s College Hospital. The Group meet on a regular basis in a safe environment for children who may be immuno-suppressed to attend with their families and siblings, to enable them to have some “normal” time with other families in similar situations.

The aim of the group is to make happy memories and for the parents to meet up, chat and relax for a while. These regular meet ups and trips provide an amazing support system for oncology families providing a lifeline to the child, their siblings and parents at a very difficult time.
