Thank you to Jess Yeo for donating her lovely long locks to The Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes real hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults who have lost their hair to cancer in the UK.

Jess loved her long hair but repeatedly asked her mum, Emma, if she could get her hair cut short into a bob, especially after learning about the charity that made wigs for children, as she was determined she was going to donate her hair to charity.

On the 8th February, Jess finally got her wish! Jess’s hairdresser, Jess (same name!) at Trez (Sara Ward), very kindly cut Jess’s hair for no charge and Jess’s mum donated the cost of the haircut to The CCT’s Bromley Childhood Cancer Support Group. Emma is a keen supporter of The CCT having offered us exclusive free use of her pottery parlour in West Wickham for the Bromley and Croydon group meet-ups, and also organised a CCT Christmas raffle last December.

What an amazing thing to do Jess, well done!
