On Sunday 3rd June the Bromley and Frog Childhood Cancer Support Groups got together at the Crofton Halls in Orpington for a really fun afternoon with Magic Frostie. Magic Frostie certainly knew how to entertain, wowing everyone with his impressive magic tricks. He also had the whole room in stiches when he introduced his faithful sidekick Lenny the Lemur puppet as his assistant. After Magic Frostie’s brilliant performance, the children had fun playing lots of games, followed by music and dancing. Thank you Mytime for being such great hosts.
On Sunday 8th July the Bromley and Frog Childhood Cancer Support Groups met up for a special party with Karen aka ‘Krazy K’ at The Warren, Hayes. It certainly was Krazy! It was a Magical Mermaid and Pirate Party, which involved a whole mystical set, including a Giant Shell and a Pirate Ship. There was Balloon Making, Face Painting, Karaoke, a foam machine which the children loved, and lots of party games. Thank you Karen for getting in touch with us to come along to entertain the children for FREE and to The Warren who also donated their venue.
On Sunday 24th June the CCT Tiger Ward Childhood Cancer Support group met at Cine World in Bexleyheath.After collecting their Munch boxes they headed off to watch the film Peter Rabbit.It was a great film and the children had a wonderful time.
The Tiger Ward Childhood Cancer Support Group had a fantastic time on Sunday 22nd July at Starbucks Greenwich Shopping Park. The group were entertained by company “The Pop Up Arcade” who came along with various different gaming consoles for the children to play on. The children also got to choose their favourite image from the internet and have it printed on to a T-shirt to take home.
Starbucks made some tasty chocolate and strawberry Frappuccinos complemented with chocolate golden coins and delicious biscuits.
