Harris Primary Orpington held a ‘penny mile’ on Wednesday 23rd May for their St Andrew’s house charity The Chartwell Cancer Trust. Children throughout the whole school were invited to bring in pennies and laid them down in long lines in the hall. Altogether they laid down 226 metres of coins and raised £190.00. The winning class raising the most was Year 3 Farah. This class laid down a whopping 45 metres of coins! What a fun way to raise money! Thank you and well done to the children at Harris Primary.
