The Bromley and Croydon Childhood Cancer Support Groups had a lovely time at Emma’s Pottery Parlour on Sunday 14th January in West Wickham. All of the children were given exclusive use of the pottery studio where they got to paint a plate with their own design that they could take home as a keepsake.
Emma also asked us to paint a special tile to go on her studio’s wall of fame too where The CCT now has pride of place!
Children from the Bromley and Frog Childhood Cancer Support Groups were invited to attend the Bromley FC v Halifax Match on 27th January. The children met with the first team players, the manager and coach and also had their photographs taken. They were even allowed to have a kick about on the pitch. It was a very special moment and certainly one to remember.
The Tiger Ward Childhood Cancer Support Group families enjoyed a private performance of the film ‘Sing’ at Cineworld, Bexleyheath on Sunday 18th February. The children had a wonderful time tucking into their snack boxes, laughing throughout the whole film (or was that the parents?), which was lovely to hear.
On Sunday 21st January the Tiger Ward Childhood Cancer Support Group families met at Pizza Express in Bexleyheath. The children had loads of fun making their own pizzas with their favourite toppings, eating them polished off with delicious ice-cream.
