Thank you for all the donations we receive.
Since the last issue, we are pleased to report that the Direct Line Group raised over £2,000 from their Xmas Raffle and Xmas Jumper Day, which was also matched funded. The Bedpost sent in further donations resulting from their advert in our FUNdraising magazine.
We had the opportunity to meet members of the WI Biggin Hill at their AGM meeting Prosecco Soirée in May. As well as receiving donations many of them have volunteered their time to help in our new pop-up shop in The Glades, Bromley. WI Member and patron Margaret Day made a beautiful patchwork quilt that is being raffled for The CCT on their WI stand at the Biggin Hill Festival on 7th July.
CCT Supporters of the year, Go Travel, held an exclusive ‘Tour & Explore’ travel event at Chislehurst Golf Club on Thursday 26th April. This was an evening of inspiration and information, guests enjoyed Canapés and Prosecco whilst having the opportunity to meet with the experts, explore the market stalls of many award-winning tour operators and listen to presentations full of need-to-know information, helping them decide where their next adventure might be. They also held a raffle with lots of great prizes and the proceeds went to The CCT.
Thank you to Nicola Powell for inviting us to join The Athena Networking Group in Chislehurst and giving us the opportunity to do a talk at both the Westerham and Chislehurst meet-ups in the next few months
