Thank you to Angela Moore, member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club and all the Street Party Team for organising a mobile phone raffle in aid of The Chartwell Cancer Trust at their Royal Wedding Street Party on Saturday 19th May. Almost 200 residents came together in Grosvenor Street to celebrate the Royal occasion, which was a fantastic success.
The next fundraiser organised by the JAG’s is their annual summer garden party and BBQ on Sunday 10th June. Members Geoff and Lesley Waterman are hosting this event at their Party Barn in Biggin Hill. There is going to be live music, a top notch BBQ catered for by Jamie and his team at Fayre Do’s, as well as plenty of Pimms and Prosecco! All profits are being donated to The CCT.
Tickets are £16.00, children £8.00. If you would like to attend please get in touch 01959 570322 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

The Big O Vintage festival is a vintage and retro festival packed full of life and vitality that celebrates ‘Suburbia through the decades’. It is being held on Saturday 7th July in Priory Gardens, Orpington. Organisers Talking Box Events, who are friends of The CCT, have invited us to come along and we are very much looking forward to being a part of what is sure to be a great day. It will be a fantastic family day out for the whole family to enjoy the amazing sights and sounds of life in Britain from the 1940s to the 80s. There will be everything from a 1940s tea dance to a retro gaming tent, and a classic car show as well as live music, DJ’s, exhibitors and exhibits, street food, and fun rides for the children. The festival kicks off at 10.30am, with a parade of classic cars through Orpington High Street up to the gardens. The gates open at 11am.
