Our aim is to help wherever we can and we rely on our supporters to help us too.  It could be at an event, jumping out of the sky, running, leaving a legacy, remembering a loved one or by making a single or regular donation.  Whatever it is, the patients and staff at the Unit are truly grateful.

Legacies

Many people who have been treated in the Chartwell Unit like to leave a legacy as a thankyou for the care they received, and to support the Unit.

You can make an online donation through (www.memorygiving.com) in memory of a person or loved one, as requested in some instances by the family instead of floral tributes.

You can also create an online page in memory of loved ones through (www.virginmoneygiving.com) and clicking on “Create your page” followed by “Someone special”.

Please contact 01959 570322 if you require further information.

Advertise in The Chartwell and King’s Fundraising Magazine

Layout 1

This monthly  magazine is distributed among patients in the Cancer Units at the Princess Royal Hospital, King’s College Hospital, Orpington Hospital and Beckenham Beacon as well as our growing database of patrons and supporters.   It is free and we want it to bring some smiles and humour which we believe is essential and considered by some to be the very best medicine.  For advertising rates and more information please call 01959 570322.

Other ways to help

We organise a number of events throughout the year and get involved with local companies, organisations, schools, etc, to support sponsored walks, fun days, social evenings, bring ‘n’ buy events, and more. Some of our patrons take part in well known events such as the London Marathon and the annual British London 10k Run.  If you have any ideas, however big or small, get in touch – we would love to hear from you and every single penny helps! You can set up your own sponsor page through (www.virginmoneygiving.com) if you are taking part in an event.

We are always looking for help in the office, or at an organised event eg marshals.  If you would like to volunteer to help please call 01959 570322.
